Just yesterday, in the Yoga Vasishtam discourse, Pujya Bala Swamiji was mentioning how on the path of sadhana, one should never become arrogant.
There are no coincidences, only divine orchestrations. Very grateful to be visiting the Brahmapureeswara temple at Thirupattur today.
Lord Brahma like Shiva had 5 heads, but when he became arrogant about his powers of creation, Shiva took off one of his 5 heads. Brahma then prayed to Lord Shiva and consecrated 12 Shivalingas in this kshetra. Pleased with his devotion, Shiva then blessed Lord Brahma with Tejas, and Devi known as Sampat Gauri Mata blessed him with auspiciousness.
There are very few kshetras where Brahma is worshipped. There is also a shrine to Patanjali Maharshi at this temple. I hope and pray that someday Pujya Bala Swamiji blesses us with His discourse on the Patanjali Yogasutras 🙏
The sthala vriksha here is a beautiful Bakul tree known as Magizha in Tamil.

偶然の一致はなく、ただ神聖な編成があるのみです。今日、ティルパトゥールのブラフマプリーズワラ寺院を訪れることができ、とても感謝しています。
ブラフマー神はシヴァ神のように5つの頭を持っていたが、彼が自分の創造力に傲慢になったとき、シヴァ神は彼の5つの頭のうちの1つを取り落とした。ブラフマーはシヴァ神に祈り、このクシェトラに12のシヴァリンガを奉献しました。シヴァ神はその献身を喜び、ブラフマー神にテージャスを授け、サンパット・ガウリ・マタとして知られるデヴィはブラフマー神に殊勝な祝福を授けました。
ブラフマーが祀られているクシェトラは非常に少ない。また、この寺院にはパタンジャリ・マハルシの祠があります。いつの日か、プジャ・バラ・スワミジがパタンジャリ・ヨーガスートラの講話で私たちを祝福してくれることを願い、祈っています🙏。
ここのスターラ・ヴリクシャは、タミル語で「マジシャ」と呼ばれる美しいバクルの木です。
