Indrasena was a cruel fellow who killed both wild and tame beings just for fun. One day he died as is inevitable for all beings.
At the hour of death, one experiences great difficulty and pain and fear. One does not know which orifice the jivi will break out from and escape. In a body where the senses are not restrained, becomes diseased. Without telling anyone, the jeevi will leave. The dead body which now remains cannot be kept at home. This is why it is important to keep the body healthy and fit.
King Indrasena died and was escorted to the court of Lord Yama. Seeing this king, Yama got up immediately and went to offer namaskaras to this cruel and vile king. Yama saw the little punya which the king had accrued on account of being a Shiva Bhakta. Yama told all the guards present there to beg the king for forgiveness.
Realisation dawned on the king when he left the gross body. Now with the subtle body, the king could still see the physical body in which he had committed so many sins and experienced pain.
When one dies, because of the love for the physical body which one leaves behind, one is made to experience pain for all sins committed in that karma sharira.
The king asked Yama, “ I do not know Shiva, nor have I chanted his name nor seen him. I only sadistically hunted animals. How did I ever utter Hara’s name? All this sounds very strange to me.”
Yama then explained, “when you went hunting, you would tell your attendants to bring that Aahara! You chanted Aahara (prey which was killed) and prahara (beat it) countless times. From these 2 words which you chanted on countless occasions, Shiva only accepted the Hara and felt extremely pleased. HH says this is like the goatherd chanting ai ai and Devi becomes pleased. HH makes fun of people who constantly say I I I in english.
All the ganas who even chant ‘hara’ once by chance, become one among the Shiva ganas.
Indrasena stood there baffled. As realisation dawned, he shed tears at Shiva’s boundless compassion. Without his knowledge he became part of Shiva’s family.
If Shiva blesses one who chants his name unknowingly, then what of those who knowingly chant shiva nama!
Keep a shivalinga at home and chant Vishnu’s name. Then you shall earn the Lord’s grace!

インドラーセナは、野生動物も飼いならされた動物も、面白半分に殺してしまう残酷な男でした。ある日、彼はすべての生き物が避けられないように死んでしまいました。
死の間際、人は大きな困難と痛みと恐怖を経験します。ジヴィがどの穴から脱出するのか分からない。感覚を抑制できない身体では、病気になる。誰にも言わずに、ジーヴィは去っていきます。今残っている死体は、家に置いておくことはできません。このため、体を健康に保つことが重要なのです。
インドラーセナ王が死んで、ヤマの宮廷に護送されました。この王を見て、閻魔大王はすぐに起き上がり、この残酷で下劣な王にナマスカラを捧げに行きました。閻魔大王は、この王がシババクタであることを理由に得たわずかなプンヤを目にしました。閻魔大王はそこにいるすべての衛兵に、王に許しを請うように言いました。
王が肉体を離れたとき、悟りが開けました。今、王は微妙な体を持っていますが、彼が多くの罪を犯し、痛みを経験した肉体を見ることができます。
人は死ぬとき、残してきた肉体を愛するがゆえに、そのカルマシャーラで犯したすべての罪の痛みを経験させられるのである。
王はヤマに尋ねました。「私はシヴァを知りませんし、その名を唱えたことも、見たこともありません。私はただ残酷に動物を狩っていただけです。どうしてハラの名を口にしたことがあるのだろう。私にはこのすべてがとても不思議に聞こえます。
ヤマは、「あなたは狩りに行くとき、お供の者にアアハラを持ってくるように言いましたね。アアハラ（殺した獲物）、プラハラ（倒したもの）と数え切れないほど唱えたものだ。その数え切れないほど唱えたこの2つの言葉から、シヴァ神はただ「ハラ」を受け入れて、非常に喜んだのです。これは、山羊飼いがアイアイと唱えるとデヴィが喜ぶようなものだとHHは言います。HHは、英語でI I Iとばかり言っている人を面白がっています。
たまたま一度でも「ハラ」と唱えたガーナはすべてシヴァのガーナの中に入るのである。
インドラーセナは困惑して立ち尽くしていた。そして、シヴァの無限の慈悲に涙を流した。彼は知らないうちにシヴァの家族の一員になっていたのです。
もしシバが、知らずに自分の名前を唱える者を祝福するならば、知っててシバ・ナマを唱える者はどうなるのでしょう！？
家にシヴァリンガを置き、ヴィシュヌの名を唱えなさい。そうすれば、あなたは主の恩寵を得ることができるでしょう
今日ここにいる人たち、そしてここに来れなかった人たちにも主の祝福がありますように。
